So here I am, a SAHM (stay at home mom) of five. I am not at my all time heaviest, that was before I got pregnant with my second child ( a girl). But I am so close to it, it makes me ill. I hate looking in the mirror, my face looks so fat right now. I have a double chin and even when I am over weight I don't have a double chin, a round face yes, but not a true double chin. I know I shouldn't think these things or say them, I mean what kind of an example am I being to my three girls if I am saying I am fat or ugly or that I hate myself. I try to censor these things but I am afraid that they still see them. So here is where I start.
Today the scale said 204.4lbs
Oh my Cow! How can that be!?!?! I weigh over 200 lbs. I am only 5'3", normal for my height is105-140. I could say the scale is that high because good ole' Aunt Flo has made her arrival but who am I kidding it has been this high for a month, before that it was 207lbs. My first big goal is to not be OBESE I hate that word. it feels so gross to say I am obese. to just be over weight I would have to weigh 168.9 that is a loss of 35.4lbs. WOW, I have to lose more than 35 lbs to just be overweight. My next big goal would be to be in the normal weight range, for me that is 140.5lbs. that is a loss of 28.9lbs from there. Total loss to that point is 63.9 lbs. That number is huge to me so I will be working towards smaller goals to make the larger goals seem manageable. Small goals are as follows:
1. Get out of the 200's (199.9lbs) -4.5lbs
2. 180's (189.9lbs) -10lbs 14.5lbs total
3. 170's ( 179.9lbs) -10lbs 24.5lbs total
4. this one is my first BIG GOAL 160's (169.9lbs) no longer OBESE -10lbs, 34.5 total
5. 150's (159.9lbs) -10lbs, 44.5lbs total
6. 140's (149.9lbs) -10lbs 54.5lbs total
7. next BIG GOAL 140.5lbs no longer overweight! -9.4lbs 63.9lbs total
8. 135lbs - 5.5lbs, 69.4lbs total
After number 8 I will see how things go.
I will be using weight watchers and exercise to achieve these goals.
So this is where I start. After AF has run her course I will have DH (dear husband) take some measurements and I will post them here.
